Dev Shah is only 14 years old and won the National Spelling Bee. AMAZING!
What an honor to be invited to photograph Dev Shah, the winner of the Scripps National Spelling Bee 2023! Dev Shah conquered over 20 rounds of competition, sealing his win with the word, psammophile (Did I spell that right???).
What did we all do when we were 14? I remember honestly feeling pretty accomplished when I managed to persuade my mom to take me shopping at the mall. But Dev... Dev's story is different! He only just won the National Spelling Bee after studying countless hours and YEARS of competing and preparing for this moment.
I am excited to share some sneak peeks of the event. The family spent hours of planning with over 150 guests attending to celebrate this brilliant young man and his family's monumental accomplishment. More to come!
