We are so excited you decided to add video to capture the best day of your life! Our team prioritizes on your vision and you answering these questions will help us achieve your vision!
Here's what to expect:
10+ weeks before your wedding = We send you an individual questionnaire to get to know your love story! It helps us get inspired and personalize your music options and how your video will be produced. This also influences how we shoot for your wedding day! This is optional for our couples.
8 weeks+ before wedding = Your general videography questionnaire is filled out together as a general understanding of your wedding day and your vision. This is required and more information is appreciated!
6-7 weeks before wedding = (if you request) You are sent music options for your (as applicable to your booking) 1) highlight video & 2) full wedding video. We narrow them down to the best 2-3 songs to make the decision easier for you, then you choose your favorite! Please select your songs within 3 days of receiving your options so you have one less thing to worry about and we can get everything prepped for our storyboard and shot list planning prior to the wedding day.
4-6 weeks before wedding = we create the story board based on the confirmed songs. We will talk about the shots and timeline on our last 2 wedding calls!
Why Should I add on Videography with you?
I can offer an exclusive rate as an add on to your photography package. If you've booked me as your photographer, you should expect the same quality control with your videography and consistency to our brand and look. Makes it easier on your end to have one less vendor to deal with!
What is the delivery timeframe for videography?
For Highlight Videos (1-2 minutes): 1-3 days. For Wedding Videos (4-6 weeks). Full Delivery of all products are delivered within 6 weeks with options for rush delivery.
Do I get to choose the music?
Depending on the package, we will work with you and provide 2-3 options for your music taste. We use a licensing company to allow sharing the video with music.
We have a specific song we want to use for the video. How does that work?
There are many copyright laws that we have to be aware of. We can edit another video based on your favorite song in addition to the licensed music that is approved. You may run into copyright infringement if you decide to post it online. We have had couples request a commercial-free video AND a personal video with their favorite artist as well. This incurs extra fees for a secondary video!
How soon do I need to book my videography add-on?
Ideally, the sooner the better! If you're not sure how much coverage you'd like, start with the lowest package and we can at least secure a videographer for your date. The hours can be adjusted at any time.
Why is videography so expensive?
You are paying for experience + quality + consistent outcomes. You will know what you are paying for. This pricing includes editing time, music licensing (which is typically $100-250 per song), and the fun, experienced energy that our team brings on your wedding day.
